Once upon a time, in an ancient European city, there lived a baker who made exceptionally good bread for his customers. It was with great pride the baker began identifying each loaf from his oven with a personal mark. The people of the city recognized this mark as an assurance of quality. They brought his bread in preference to the unmarked loaves of his competitors. Soon, those competitors began making their marks on loaves, but began using lesser quality ingredients and lower cost to lure away his customers, but the baker and his customers knew it wasn’t just the mark on the loaf or its cost that mattered, it was the quality, the fresh ingredients, the taste, and the care of the man in their community who prepared it for them.

When we opened our Grand Rapids location in 2004, we were the first established pizzeria in the Heritage Hill district. Since then, our philosophy has been, to be a part of the community, get to know our customers, and provide them the best quality products for their dollar. We procure the freshest produce, and ingredients then assemble them daily, to provide you our customer the best possible product. This careful attention does not come without a cost. We are not the cheapest nor would we devalue our product by saying so. We could choose to use frozen dough, sauce out of a bag, and mystery meat nuggets, but we leave that to the chain stores whose boxes may taste better than their finished product. Our customers deserve better than that. You deserve better than that. We recognize you have a voice in choosing what’s best for you, and welcome the opportunity to serve you. While our name has changed and times change, the basics of quality, freshness, taste and their value do not. Taste the quality difference fresh makes.
